SAT Math Prep Course
Sunshine STEM Academy is proud to announce that SAT Math Prep Course is offered in 2019-2020 school year.
The Sunshine STEM Academy Test Prep Program is an intensive test prep program that provides students with the tools they need to prepare for SAT. SAT Math Prep course meets two hours once a week to develop essential test-taking tools. Students receive in-depth review of the exam materials, insight into strategies for succeeding on standardized tests, and a comprehensive study plan.
Our sessions are designed to enhance students’ problem-solving and analytical thinking skills that activates their current knowledge and builds upon it.
Date & Time
Sema Duzyol, experienced High School Math Teacher & Math Olympiad Coach, holds BS degree in Engineering and MS in Mathematics. Ms. Duzyol is two time recipient of Edyth May Sliffe National Education award in 2018 and 2019. She has taught all levels of high school mathematics courses including AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, Calculus II and Multi-variable Calculus courses. Mrs. Duzyol coached Georgia State Mathcounts Team for the last four years at the National Mathcounts Competition in 2016-2019. Best placement of Georgia Mathcounts Team under her leadership is 4th place in the Nation, additionally Georgia won the ‘Most Improved Team’ award for their impressive trajectory two years in a row in 2016 and 2017. In only two short years after she started coaching, Georgia has advanced from 28th place to fourth in the country, the highest ranking ever achieved in the state’s history.
