A well-educated science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) workforce is a significant contributor to maintaining the competitiveness of the U.S. in the global economy.
The Sunshine Scholarships in STEM programs addresses the need for a high quality STEM workforce in STEM disciplines for the increased success of low-income academically talented students with demonstrated financial need who are interested in Robotics and Coding.
In order to support academically talented students’ education in STEM programs, Sunshine STEM Academy will provide scholarship for eligible students. If you are interested in (or if you know someone who can be interested in) please submit application for scholarship below.
Priority consideration will be given to children from groups under-represented in engineering: females, Hispanics, African Americans, first-generation and children in foster care.
Application deadline is September 1, 2017. Scholarship awardees will be announced by September 15, 2017.
